Cleve Archers Ltd is committed therefore to ensuring that the Management Committee, volunteers and those who participate in activities run by the organisation have an understanding of Safeguarding Children, Young People and Adults at Risk and what forms abuse may take and that they know where to raise concerns if abuse is suspected or reported.
This policy therefore applies to all staff, including senior managers and the board of trustees, paid staff, volunteers and sessional workers, agency staff, students or anyone working on behalf of Cleve Archers Ltd to safeguard children and young people and adults at risk.
In accordance with these principles the Club will implement and maintain the following procedure:

Archery GB holds The Advanced Standards for Safeguarding and Protecting Children in Sport. Our Safeguarding standards, policies and procedures are scrutinised annually by the NSPCC Child Protection in Sport Unit and we currently, hold a Sport England “Green” RAG rating for Safeguarding.
Archery GB is committed in ensuring that children, young people and adults at risk (vulnerable adults) enjoy archery in a safe environment in which they are protected from any form of poor practice or abuse.
