Cleve Archers - Recording Scores

There are a few ways that we can collect and record our scores, from using paper score sheets, to a variety of smart phone apps or even directly into an online service. Here at Cleve Archers we have a club subscription to Golden Records which allows us to have a centralised source for tracking all things records related.

Golden Records

We use Golden Records to record individual archers scores for all the archery rounds shot. Graham Hunter (secretary) has been notified of all new members, but if you have not yet received an email from Graham with your Golden Records login details, please email secretary@clevearchers.co.uk.

Smart Phone App - Expert Archer

Each time you shoot a round, please update your score on Golden Records, alternatively you can download the app Expert Archer and set up an account.  You can set up different bow styles too.  The most important bit is to enter the Club Name as Cleve Archers.  The information that is entered in Expert Archer will then be able to be downloaded by the Records Officer (Tom) and uploaded to Golden Records.
For further info please see https://www.expertarcher.com/

Paper/Manual score uploads

For those that still want to use paper score sheets only and are unable to enter their scores on Golden Records, we can arrange to get them manually uploaded.  If possible, take a picture with your phone and email them to recordsofficer@clevearchers.co.uk otherwise email with where they have been left and pick up can be arranged.

County Records

We use Golden Records to submit scores to the County Records Officer which is then used to assist in selecting archers to represent the county at the Intercounties shoot held in September and at the County Friendly Glos vs Worcs held every May.

It is now possible to select a 50+ category but you will need to enter your date of birth in Golden Records for it to default to that category.  If you are unable to select this as a default option, then please contact Graham or Tom (recordsofficer@clevearchers.co.uk).  Please note, it is not compulsory and you can manually select the 50+ category each time you enter a score.
