Cleve Archers Beginners Course

Our beginners courses are an easy and fun way for beginners to get a complete introduction to the sport. Our courses consist of 4 fun lessons spread across 4 consecutive weeks. Lessons will be at the same day and time each week.

During your course we will teach you how to set up a bow, safely shoot by applying the necessary safety rules, and understand the different bow types / categories so that you will feel confident in selecting your own equipment after you complete the course.

All equipment will be provided during your beginners course. New club members are welcome to continue using the club equipment for a short period following the successful completion of your beginners course. This can be discussed with your coach.

NB: When attending a beginners course it is important to wear appropriate clothing, i.e. tight fitting clothing on the upper body, trainers or walking shoes on the feet. Open toe footwear is not allowed for safety reasons. Please remove jewellery especially necklaces, chains, earrings, body piercings, wrist watches, and bracelets. Long hair should be tied back.
