The courses are held at our outdoor venue ‘Down Yonder’, Bromley Heath Road, Moorend, Hambrook, Bristol, BS16 1SW.
As our courses are outdoors we are at the mercy of the Great British weather, we shoot in most conditions but if it is not safe to shoot the session will have to be postponed, we will give you as much notice as possible via the email that you use to sign up to the course.
Please make sure you dress appropriately for the weather, warm clothes and waterproofs will make your shooting much more comfortable if it rains (don't forget sun cream, just in case).
A key asset of our club is its large coaching team and we will continue to support and advise you, whatever level you shoot at. We offer continuing courses to help you improve your archery as well as coach supported shooting sessions if you're just looking for a little bit of advice.
COVID-19
If advised by the government or Archery GB that archery activities should cease to prevent the spread of COVID-19, including local lockdowns, then the course will be suspended until we are allowed to restart activities. If you do not wish to continue on the course once restrictions are lifted you will be entitled to the following refund;
Course postponed before the first session - 100%
Course suspended after the first session - 75%
Course suspended after the second session - 50%
Course suspended after the third session - 25%
If you claim a refund you will need to complete a later course in full in order to join an archery club.
